eGPS Solutions provides the following levels of GPS correction services, each with different features:

RTK CORRECTION

• Within the limits of our Network Coverage, eGPS provides Real Time Kinematic (RTK), GPS corrections with an accuracy of 1 to 2 cm horizontally and 2 to 4 cm vertically.
• Distance dependent errors are considerably minimized with utilization of the eGPS network, thereby achieving increased accuracy and reliability.
• RTK Surveying works at its optimum with a base station network to achieve the pinnacle of RTK Technology production potential.

Hardware Requirements

The eGPS Solutions correction can be applied to any mobile receiver capable of connecting to a data cell phone. Cell phone reception, therefore, is a requirement of the RTK correction service. Mobile receivers are available enabling the use of a wireless connection to the cell phone and data collector. Benefits of a true, wireless operation should not be ignored. However, older technology requiring cable connections to the data phone and data collector will successfully use the eGPS Solutions connection service allowing the utilization of older receivers. The highly qualified eGPS Solutions staff can assist with any hardware evaluations.

STATIC CORRECTION DATA

• Within the state of Georgia's coverage area, eGPS Solutions provides data for post processing of static survey sessions, enabling positioning in the order of 1 cm or even millimeter recovery limit. The data is provided in the standardized RINEX format and is available via our password protected FTP site.
• Information with a data rate of 15 seconds is stored indefinately.
• Post processing provides the highest accuracy and is suitable where increased precision is required.

Possible Fields of Application

• Control surveys for monumentation
• Rapid static sessions for photogrammatic control surveys
• Establishment of 3rd order, class II vertical control

Hardware Requirements

• Any single or dual frequency GPS receiver can be used to collect data for post processing software packages.
• Employ any post processing software package to reduce the data to final position that uses standard RINEX files.
• The normal limitations of the equipment used would apply.

DGPS CORRECTION (Mapping Grade)

• This application is a sub-meter Mapping and Navigation Technology.
• The service provided by eGPS Solutions includes data for post processed positioning and Real Time Correction. Any receiver that is capable of Real Time Corrections and cell phone data service can be used to receive eGPS Solutions’ Real Time RTCM corrections.
• Distance dependant errors are eliminated for users’ observations due to eGPS Solutions’ array of base station locations.
• Mapping grade subscribers may also post process through RINEX downloads.
