Wes Hand
Sales/Support Technician

Wes Hand became eGPS Solutions’ second sales and support technician when he joined the company in February 2007. A native of Nashville, Georgia, Mr. Hand is right at home covering the southern region of the company’s network coverage areas.

A 1999 graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia, Mr. Hand started surveying in 1995 while he was still a student. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying and Mapping, he returned to South Georgia and worked with local survey companies. To bolster his career and gain more exposure to the emerging GPS survey technologies, he started his own business, Hand Land Surveying Company in 2005 and performed boundary, topographic, construction staking and static GPS control surveys.

The opportunity to become fully absorbed in GPS, however, couldn’t be passed up when Mr. Hand was offered a position with eGPS Solutions. He brings to the company a familiarity with the network’s southern regions, and first hand experience with the perspective of sole proprietary and smaller survey firms to keep up with rapidly advancing technology.
